The Cabins in Hope is situated in the Central Adirondacks approximately 17 miles from Lake Pleasant in Speculator, New York.

Our accommodations are conveniently located to many of the area’s children’s camps, if you need weekend lodging while dropping off or picking up a child or grandchild at Camp Tapawingo or Deerfoot Lodge. Camp of the Woods is also nearby, if you would like to attend a concert or a church service there.

Directions from West of Syracuse: Take NY State Thruway (Route 90) to exit 33 Rome/Verona. Merge onto NY 365 for 10.5 miles. Takee the NY 365/E Dominick St. exit toward Barneveld for less than a mile. Turn right at E. Dominick St/NY 365 (signs for Barneveld). Travel for 1.9 miles and turn left at New Floyd Rd/NY 365/Rome Floyd Rd/State Route 365. Continue on Route 365 for approximately 27 miles and turn left on NY 8/State Route 8. Travel approximately 34.5 miles and turn right on NY 30/NY 8/State Route 8. Travel south for 19.5 miles. We’ll be on your right, after you pass The Hope Diner, a brown stand alone building.

Easy to find, so enjoy the scenic drive and look for our sign.

Directions from New Jersey:take either Rt. 287 or GSP north to NY State Thruway (I-87) North. Follow directions "From South & East (Albany)"

Directions from the South & East: once in Albany, exit from Route 90 onto Route 87 N, the Northway. Take Exit #15: Saratoga Springs. Head west on Rt 9/50. Turn left/south onto Broadway in downtown Saratoga Springs. In a couple of blocks, look for the Route 29 West sign and turn right. Follow Route 29 West for 23.2 miles, at the intersection of NY 29 & 30 in Vail Mills (Dunkin’ Donuts on the NW corner), turn right on NY 30. In 0.3 miles turn left to stay on NY 30. After 4.6 miles turn right to stay on NY 30 (All turns are marked). We are approximately 19 miles straight north from that point. Your next landmark will be the “Entering Adirondack Park” sign in Mayfield. Next will be the “Welcome to Northville” sign. When you see the bridge into “downtown” Northville on your right, you will be 9.3 miles from The Cabins. At the Hope fire station, you will be 2.1 miles from our sign. Look for the trout pond; then take a left into the driveway right before our sign. Check in at the Main House.
