Our Cabins

The Cabins in Hope are a refreshing alternative to hotels and motels when visiting the south central Adirondacks, Northville, Wells, and Speculator, New York. A stay includes breakfast delivered to your cabin and daily maid service.

THE RIVERWOOD CABIN:

Cabin #1 Riverwood Cabin, on the north side of the property, has a direct view of the river through a gently sloping stand of trees. It is “pet free,” has Internet access and air-conditioning. It is the closest cabin to the bathhouse. Decorated in blues & greens (or sometimes red) the tiled bedroom is furnished with a new queen bed. One of your dining tables is on the front porch providing “the best table in the restaurant” for enjoying the views while dining. Private Adirondack chairs and your private picnic table complete your experience. Fall asleep to the sounds of the rushing Sacandaga River.

Maximum occupancy: 2 adults.

HILLVIEW CABIN:

Cabin #2 Hillview Cabin sits at the south side of the property, past the main house. It is next to our brook and overlooks the lower yard. It has expansive views of the river from its screened porch. It, too, is air-conditioned for 21st century comfort for those few summer days when the evening mountain air stays a bit too warm. Its furnishings include a marble-topped bureau & side tables. A comfortable lounge chair makes reading a pleasant pastime. Our two new double beds resting on early 20th century bed platforms are decorated with bed linens in rich browns/oranges (or neutrals, depending on the season). There is both a dining table in the cabin as well as on the front porch. The latter provides another “best table” view during breakfast. Private Adirondack lawn chairs and a picnic table offer alternative places to rest and relax.

A maximum occupancy of 2 adults and 2 children (under 10 yrs. old) makes this cabin perfect for a family getaway. Kids really enjoy the cabin, which can be their family camping experience………. And you’ll thoroughly appreciate your concierge bed and breakfast stay.

THE TROUT POND CABIN:

Cabin # 3 The Trout Pond Cabin is located at the beginning of the property and is across from our flowing brook and our upper pond. Inside, your breakfast table & chairs create a cozy breakfast nook with views of the mountains on the other side of the river. The screened porch offers another table with chairs for viewing the ever-changing pond activity or checking your e-mail. It is our “pet friendly” cabin and offers the opportunity for you to enjoy our property with your pet. The bed may be made up as either a king or two twins.

Maximum occupancy: 2.

Thank you for a great breakfast! We’re on our way feeling rested and satisfied. The trip to the bathroom was not a problem and your beautiful location is so breathtaking and serene. We will remember this stay fondly. Sincerely, K&D, New Hampshire

Thanks… for such a lovely stay. The river was mesmerizing, The breakfasts were delicious, and the innkeeper was a great tour guide. All in all, it was a wonderful place to have our honeymoon! We hope to visit the cozy little cabin again in the future.

We spent plenty of time just wandering around and sitting on the benches by the river. It’s a place for nature-lovers, but we also had all the comfort we needed. Having to walk a few steps to the bathroom-house was really no big deal–actually, it was fun too.
